Actively working to change the narrative for young ethnic minority & black people that success at the highest level is achievable, regardless of race, background, belief system & barriers through dedication to craft (whatever that may be).
In tandem, we aim to capture the journey of successful black folks who look like them, many from disadvantaged and less opportune backgrounds, but who have defied the odds to rise to the pinnacle of internationally acclaimed success... and in some cases...

Podcast Overview
The aim of the show is to create a groundbreaking lifestyle magazine format content accessible on streaming platforms and social media platforms.
HD is a celebration of Black successful Heroes. The purpose is to inspire, to actively change the narrative for black people, and the coming generation of Black people & ethnic groups to the possibility of success and excellence, whatever their chosen craft.
Success for Blacks doesn’t have to be Fraud, Drugs and Crime.

Whether we are providing information that will help a black kid in Scunthorpe start an African cuisine franchise, or having a really entertaining interview with one of our favourite musical heroes on how to breakthrough in the industry…
We seek to inspire YOUNG BLACK PEOPLE not just to think SUCCESS, but to take confident action in the knowledge that others like them have gone before… and conquered!
We are creating content that audiences will get something impactful out of every time they hit play.
The problem
The Challenge our community is facing
Our community doesn’t have enough heroes as a reference point to success. We are still struggling to overcome our less than privileged background and heritage and see our success stories previewed on the world stage. Some of us, especially black youth don’t even see success as a possibility. Success should not be catered to a certain demographic. In some cases, even where we understand where success comes from and have the drive and determination to be successful, we don’t have the resources or accessibility to navigate to success.
Impact
Without showcasing black success and creating accessible options for black youth to begin their successful journey, we continue to be the minority in a number of industries.
The Solution
We have a responsibility to use our platform and privilege to showcase the possibility of success, to celebrate black success and emphasise on their journey. It’s important for young black people to be inspired and find ways to start their journey to success. Heroes Diary has the opportunity and the resources to be the hub for reference points to black success. We want to be able to make success more appealing. Yes, success is based on hard work and determination, but the road to success doesn’t have to be boring and draining… the road to success can be fun.
The Heroes Diary Podcast aim to provide a digital success library for black youth. We want to inspire, educate and entertain young black people through accessible media platforms, and encourage them to take their first steps in creating their own success.
